Feminism is For Everyone started as a feminist social movement blog consisting of a group of five James Madison University students with the goal of mobilizing the JMU community to get involved with feminist activism on campus and in Harrisonburg. Today, we continue with our goal of mobilizing and consciousness-raising within the JMU community, specifically focusing on expanding the concept of women's issues, understanding that all issues are women's issues. Our original blog members are joined by new peers--continuing to build solidarity between existing initiatives pertaining to feminism and women's political participation as well as proposing new ways to advocate and get involved in our community.
